Saudi Arabia and the USA are similar and different in many ways. they are similar in music, entertainment and sports. They are different in clothing, food and housing. News will happen all the time and it can affect one area or the entire world.

In similarities, the U.S. has all kinds of music because numerous people bring their culture when they migrate. For entertainment both countries use the same type of electrionics like ipods and flatscreens. They both also use social networking sites. Sports that are similar are soccer.

In differences, the houses are built completely different and look completely different. The foods of the countries are compared differently and there are different types of food in both the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. In the U.S. it is not common to eat lamb. We eat common meats like cow or pig. Last, the clothing is different because the women in Saudi Arabia dress head to toe covering their entire body. Women in the U.S. can where anything, there are some places where women don't have to wear a top. The men wear a head dress in Saudi Arabia but, in the U.S. men can also wear anything as long as their private areas are covered.  

The United State’s popular culture effect many parts of the world, and Saudi Arabia is no exception. Due to western ideals in fashion many Arabians have change their wardrobe from tradition robes, and dresses to jeans and more western style clothing. Also women are starting to move towards wearing more reviling garments rather than the unfaltering tradition robes and headdresses. But I feel the most shocking effect the U.S has on Saudi Arabia is the music. The Arabians have now adopted Hip Hop into their culture and it’s widely popular throughout the country. But this popular culture business is a two way street. In the U.S you can find American Women wearing scarves around their faces to mimic the Arabian head dress. That the beauty of Globalization its nothing but countries importing and exporting ideals.
